Northeast Classic Car Museum

(Norwich, NY – May 2015) The Northeast Classic Car Museum located at 24 Rexford Street, Norwich is opening a new exhibit Saturday May 16.

Muscle Cars, Motorcycles & Memories, is sponsored in part by New York Central Mutual Insurance Company.  This new exhibit is in addition to many other classic cars on display throughout the museum.  The museum changes out part of the exhibit annually to give the many returning guests something new to see year after year.

Museum Board of Trustees President Randy Gibbon said, “There is something for everyone, from the most iconic muscle cars to a variety of motorcycles from 1907-1976.  We have a four passenger Emblem motorcycle that a family drove coast to coast in 1914.  This display will bring back old memories and create new ones.”

Robert M. Jeffrey Executive Director Northeast Classic Car Museum said,   “The new Muscle Car, Motorcycle & Memories Exhibit opens on Saturday May 16 through April 30, 2016. The new exhibit has muscle cars from the late 1960’s and early 1970’s that were spectacular creations, embodying the optimism, power and dreams of a culture that knew no boundaries. “

The Northeast Classic Car Museum is 5019(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, which exhibits more than 160 classic and vintage vehicles. It is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week along with the gift shop in the lobby.  The museum only closes for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
