(Utica, NY – Jan. 2013) USC The Business College, with locations in Utica, Canastota and Oneonta, will be hosting five (5) free computer seminars beginning in February.

The series, entitled “Computer’s – What’s New?” will be presented by the college’s Director of Information Technology & Distance Learning Jarrod Borek.

The following seminars will be offered at the Utica campus and will run from 8:30am-11:30am and are all BYOD (bring your own device):

 

February 8, 2013:        Understanding your new PC – An Introduction to Windows 8

February 22, 2013:      Your music and pictures – using the cloud

 

March 8, 2013:            Social Networking: Using your new computer

 

March 29, 2013:          Netiquette!

 

April 12, 2013:            So, you bought a MAC? Now What??

Borek has a Bachelors of Technology degree specializing in Application Software Development from SUNY Morrisville.  Prior to joining USC, Borek, a Canastota resident, was a Software/Web Developer for Dairylea Cooperative, Inc., and worked with the SUNY Morrisville Entrepreneurship Institute.
