(Syracuse, NY – Jan. 2013) On Friday Jan. 25 the Onondaga Historical Association will kick off its 150th anniversary celebration with a party and the launch of Lune Chocolate’s line of Mary Elizabeth chocolates.

The event starts at the Mission Restaurant, 304 Onondaga St., the site of the Emancipation Jubilee that took place in Syracuse on Jan. 25, 1863, in honor of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation.  It will then proceed to the Carnegie Library Building for additional festivities.
