(New Woodstock, NY – Jan. 23, 2013) Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported burglary at the New Woodstock Store located at 2092 Main St. in New Woodstock yesterday morning at 6 a.m.
Deputies discovered that an unknown person(s) entered the store and stole a large amount of tobacco items and loose change with a total value of over $2,600.
Madison County Sheriff’s Investigators have conducted interviews with several people, and Evidence Technicians have processed and collected evidence at the scene.
Investigators continue to follow leads and ask anyone who may have been in the area of the New Woodstock Store between 4 and 6 a.m. yesterday and seen anything out of the ordinary to contact Madison County Sheriff’s Investigators at (315) 366-2311. Tips will remain confidential
