Toddler Rhyme Time
This is a lapsit program of rhymes, songs, fingerplays and books for toddlers and their folks. Wednesdays or Thursdays, 10:30 am.
Preschool Story Time
This is a language development program of stories, songs and crafts for 3 to 5 year olds. Wednesdays or Thursdays, 11:30 am.
These programs will start Wednesday, February 13, and run through May 16.

Art Class with Joe

The Nestlers are a group of individuals who get to-gether at the Library to work on any type of needle and hook work, such as, crochet, knit, needle-point, latch hook, crewel etc. All ages are welcomed. Bring your own supplies and be prepared to ex-change ideas. No formal instruction available.

Grandview Cemetery: Identifying Trees and Wildflowers in Whitesboro
Behind Rite-Aid, on Powell Ave and the borders of Grandview Cemetery, grow a fascinating variety of trees and wildflowers. Using Dunham library’s helpful collection of plant identification books, presenter, Sue Lorraine, set out to name and record these plants. It is quite a challenge if you have ever attempted it, but this slideshow will help you pursue this colorful world of nature found in your own backyard, driveways and “weedy” hedges. Let’s be ready for Spring!

Buying and Selling on eBay
Join Marc Smith, President of What’s It Worth in a discussion about buying and selling on the web site eBay. He will talk about different strategies to be used when either buying or selling on eBay. You will look at the eBay site and review finding the items you want to buy, who you should buy from and what you may want to sell yourself. Questions and anecdotes are encouraged.
Marc Smith is the founder and president of What’s it Worth, a company that sells surplus equipment for businesses and individuals on eBay. He has over 10 years of selling and buying experience.

Presentation and discussion will include: (1) what financial planning is and is not; (2) how a Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner differs from other planners; (3) how to select and work with a planner; (4) how to check a planner’s background.
David DePiazza is a Mohawk Valley native. His professional credentials include CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner, Accredited Financial Counselor® and Paralegal. Dunham Public Library Genealogy Group.
Dunham Public Library’s Genealogy Group is a gathering of individuals who are interested in family history research. It is an informal gathering where people can come to share their “brick walls” with others and, reciprocally, with others giving suggestions for ways to find answers. The group encourages all people to attend who want to begin researching their family trees.
Additional assistance will be provided with Dunham Library research databases, Ancestry.com and HeritageQuest.com.

A Flower for Casey by Stu Copperwheat
Meet Carl Andrew Simmons—a highly imaginative ten year old with the dream of flying. Knowing little else other than the sheltered existence he has had at the Brighton County Orphanage, Carl’s life changes dramatically when he is introduced to Robert and Mary Ever-Young. The Ever-Youngs are a well established couple from the quaint New England town of Brisbee who choose to adopt Carl in order to give him a better life. What the Ever-Youngs don’t yet realize is the profound impact that Carl will have on their lives as well as the lives of others he meets along the way in his quest to fly. Join Stu Copperwheat for a discussion of his new book, A Flower for Casey. Mr. Copperwheat will have copies of his book available for purchasing and autographing.
Stu Copperwheat is an Information Technology Director from Upstate New York who has a passion for creativity and the arts. He is an accomplished musician and lyricist having previously composed and released two full length albums with his band “Copperwheat”. He is also an aspiring painter as well as an avid treasure hunter. He lives in West Winfield, New York, with his wife, Alicia and has four grown children and three grandpuppies. This is his first book.

Home When the Streetlights Come On by Hank Leo. Many people recall “back in the day” when they were growing up and how life was just before computers, video games and supervised play became prominent. Home When the Streetlights Come On is a collection of childhood memories and adult reflections of growing up in a small town in Upstate New York. New author Hank Leo shares his heartfelt thoughts and unique, funny insight into the daily life of an average guy.

Mr. Leo will have copies of his book available for purchasing and autographing. Mr. Leo, a native of Oneida, New York, is the CEO of the local YMCA and serves on many local boards and committees. He has been recognized by the community for his contributions with numerous awards and accolades. He is also guest columnist for the local daily newspaper.
