(Oneida, NY – Feb. 8, 2013) State Police in Oneida arrested Aleksandr Selyuzhitskiy, 19, of 510 Keyes St. in Utica for second-degree Assault, a class “D” felony.
The incident occurred on Dec. 28, 2012 at the Turning Stone Casino parking garage in the early morning hours. During a physical altercation, a 19 year old male was struck in the head with a glass bottle. This incident caused the victim to have a large laceration to his head and a concussion. Neither party knew each other and it was determined during the investigation that this was a rare and random act of violence between the two young males.
The New York State Police were assisted by the Oneida Nation Police Dept., Turning Stone Casino Security, Utica Police Dept, and Mohawk Valley Community College Security.
