(Herkimer, NY – Feb. 22, 2013) Herkimer County Community College men’s basketball player Dequan Jefferson, Utica, NY (Business: Human Resource Management) has been named Region III Male Athlete of the Week.
Jefferson scored 66 points and grabbed 28 rebounds leading the Generals to four conference wins this week, under Coach Matt Lee. In addition to averaging 16.5 points and 7 rebounds a game, he added 11 steals and 13 assists for the week.
