(Utica, NY – March 2013) On Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. the Utica Public Library will host its fourth annual Eat ‘em Up Cookie Baking Contest.
The baking contest is being offered to encourage the baking talents of area amateur bakers and to select the areas “best amateur cookie.”
First, second and third place cash awards will be given out. The first place award will be $200.
The public will vote on the cookies to select the three winners. Ten area contestants will participant.
Anyone wishing to be a contestant must register in person or by contacting the Utica Library at 735-2279 to come in and obtain all the rules and regulations of the contest. The first 10 people who agree to participate will comprise the contestants.
Contestants must be at least 18, amateur bakers, and must give their cookie entry a name. Brownies will not be accepted for the contest.
