(Norwich, NY – April 2013) The public is invited to the next free film showing of the current annual “Second Tuesday Film Series” at 7 p.m. Tuesday April 9 in the Founders Room at the United Church of Christ, 11 West Main, Norwich.
This screening, another educational documentary on a current issue, is titled, “INGREDIENTS: Who Is Your Farmer?” It shows how people are working to bring personal and economic health back to our communities through the availability of locally grown and sustainably farmed food in contrast to the increasingly highly processed commercial options from far and wide that are regularly found in the food chain stores.
The film series sponsors, Chenango County Peace Action and Chenango Community Action for Renewable Energy (C-CARE), offer attendees a light supper at 6:30 before the show and encourage discussion afterwards.
Please note parking is available on the street, in the Hayes Street and County Office Building Parking lots, not in the church’s lot behind it.
