(Oneida, NY – April 24, 2013) State Police in Oneida are investigating a motorcycle/car fatal accident, which occurred at approximately 7:21 p.m. April 23 on State Route 365 in the Town of Verona.
Tracy L. Coleman, 42, of Oneida was operating her 2002 Dodge Stratus East on Hill Road when she stopped for a stop sign. Coleman then entered State Route 365 in an attempt to head northbound on State Route 365 failing to yield the right of way to an oncoming motorcycle southbound on State Route 365.
The 2012 Honda CBR motorcycle, operated by Raymond L. Torres, 44, of Chittenango struck Coleman’s vehicle and Torres was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. The Verona Fire Department assisted at the scene.
