(Herkimer, NY – May 2, 2013) The New York State Police, Little Falls Police Department and Herkimer County District Attorney’s Office are continuing their investigation into unidentified human remains that were discovered at 2-15 p.m. yesterday behind 59 Flint Ave. in Little Falls.

Although the gender has not yet been determined, it is possible that the remains are of an elderly man that was last being cared for by others in the area, who has not been seen since between 2004 and 2006. The scene is still being processed, but an autopsy may be completed today.

(Herkimer, NY – May 1, 2013) – The New York State Police in Herkimer and the Little Falls Police Department are investigating a case involving human remains that were found behind a residence located at 59 Flynt Avenue in the City of  Little Falls.

It is unclear at this time whether the remains are male or female.  An autopsy will be completed at a later date and the investigation is ongoing.
