(Boonville, NY – May 3, 2013) On May 1 Trooper Michael Muise, SP Remsen, stopped a Dodge Durango on St-12 in the Town of Boonville for an equipment violation. A subsequent file check of the operator, Jason J. Kessler, 36, from Kunkletown, NY revealed he was wanted in the state of Pennsylvania for a parole violation.
Kessler was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice and was arraigned in the Town of Steuben Court. He was subsequently sent to the Oneida County Jail awaiting extradition proceedings.
