(Utica, NY- June 2013) The Utica Public Library is ready to launch its annual Summer Reading Program for adults. The 5 week program will begin on Monday, June 24 and end on Saturday, July 27. To register, participants simply fill out and submit a form with their name, phone number and the title of something they’ve recently read. The form is your registration. More than one form may be submitted. Summer Reading Bingo Cards will also be available.
There will be weekly prizes, as well as, a Grand Prize drawing held at the end of the program. Prizes include gift cards to area businesses and restaurants, DVD’s, and a literary classic including this year’s featured novel, the 1952 masterpiece, Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison.
Brand new this year is the library’s Between the Covers With Your “Blind Date” Fiction Program. Simply pick up your free “blind date” (a gift wrapped novel) and a Blind Date Score Card. All details and rules are available in the main lobby.
