(Utica, NY – July 5, 2013) On July 3 State Police arrested Charles J. Caughey, 65, of Whitesboro for Driving While Intoxicated. Caughey was stopped at 9:27 p.m. on Schuyler Street in the City of Utica for operating his vehicle with no headlights.
Subsequent to the stop Caughey was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. He was transported to SP Marcy where he provided a breath sample which determined that he had been operating the vehicle with a .11 percent BAC.
Caughey was released on tickets that are returnable to the City of Utica Court on July 24 at 9 a.m.
