(Remsen, NY – July 29, 2013) State Police in Remsen are investigating a one-car fatal crash that occurred on Friday, July 26 at approximately 7:15 a.m. along Korber Road in the Town of Trenton.
The investigation has revealed that Christian M. Varin, 19, from Holland Patent was operating a 2007 Subaru Forester eastbound on Korber Road when he lost control of the vehicle, crossing over the westbound lane, exiting the north shoulder and striking a tree in front of 10335 Korder Road.
Varin was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
