(Ilion, NY – Sept. 2013) The Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts is hosting its Annual Honoree Dinner, Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m.
This year’s “special events” recipients are, Michael Bell, Mena Cerone, Dora Czernecki, Alice Fake, Mary Ann George, Pat Kelly, Reina Merkelbach, Roland Randall, Delores Restante, Diane Roberts, and Barbie Steciak. They will be honored and recognized for their dedication to the arts center and our community for years of meritorious service and their passion for the arts. They collectively were responsible for the planning and preparation of countless successful fund raisers.
The proceeds from the ticket sales will be used to provide funding for the newly created MVCA Scholarship Fund on their behalf. The Scholarship Fund will help to offset the costs of instruction and classes at the art center for students of all ages with limited means who seek education in all facets of the visual, musical, written, and performing arts.
