Hamilton Public Library News
By Hilary Virgil, Library Director
(Hamilton, NY – Nov. 2, 2013) As part of Santa’s visit at The Palace Theater on Saturday Dec. 7 from 3 to 6 p.m. I will be on hand to share a special holiday story hour. The story hour will run from 3 to 4 p.m. but Santa will still be visiting until 6 p.m. For more information about Santa’s visit, please call The Palace Theater (315) 824-1420.
The library will be collecting hats, mittens, scarves, etc… for the Interfaith Christmas project until Dec. 17. Please bring your donations to the drop box across from our circulation desk.
Hamilton Public Library’s annual Wish Tree is now on display. There are book titles and program materials for children and teens that may be purchased for our library collection. Each book purchased through Wish Tree donations will have a special bookplate and donors have the first-read option. This is a fine opportunity for you to honor someone special or to remember loved ones.
Additional information about library resources, programs and policies, as well as access to our online services, is available through the library website http://midyorklib.org/hamilton/. Follow us on Facebook for up-to-date information about programs, special events, and other general library-related information: http://www.facebook.com/HPL.books.
The library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am – 7pm, and Saturday, 10am – 1pm. Please visit or call the library (315) 824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop at the front of the building is always open for your convenience.
