(Marcy, NY – Dec. 23, 2013) On Dec. 12 the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Marcy arrested three local men who committed a burglary to a home in the Town of Paris.
The burglary occurred on Mohawk Street and was reported to the New York State Police on Dec. 25, 2012. A large gun safe containing numerous hand guns and longs was stolen from within the residence. After a year-long investigation and with the assistance from multiple agencies, the following three subjects were charged with second-degree Burglary, a felony.
William R. Santana, age 42, of 3524 Bleacher Ave., Chadwicks.
Santana was arraigned in the Town of Paris Court and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail on no bail.
Glenn E. Bland, age 21, of 1553 Dudley Ave, Utica. Bland, a New York State Parolee, was arraigned in the Town of Paris Court and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $40,000 bail
Jordan J. Moore, age 19, 1553 Dudley Ave., Utica.
Moore was arraigned in the Town of Paris Court and was remanded to the Oneida County Jail on $40,000 bail
A number of the stolen firearms has been recovered; however a number of these stolen firearms are still missing. Anyone who may have unknowingly purchased one of these stolen firearms or who has information concerning this burglary is asked to contact either Senior Investigator Michael Hulihan or Investigator Brett Vanderlan at SP Marcy.
The State Police were assisted in this investigation by New York State Parole, the Oneida County Sheriff Office, the Town of New Hartford PD and the City of Utica PD.
