(Verona, NY – Dec. 31, 2013) Fred “Fritz” Scherz, Jr., Councilman on the Verona Town Board was ceremoniously sworn in for his second term earlier today in a small ceremony held by New York State Senator Joe Griffo.
“It was an honor to have my friend, Senator Griffo, lead the ceremonial swearing in while my wife, Kathy stood by my side,” said Scherz. “I look forward to my second term as councilman and intend to continue serving my constituents to the best of my ability.”
The official swearing-in ceremony for Scherz will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 4:30 p.m. at the Verona Town Office Building, 6600 Germany Road, in Durhamville. The ceremony is open to the public.
