(Morrisville, NY – Feb. 2014) We are having our annual canned food drive to benefit the Morrisville Food Pantry through Feb. 28. Not only will you be making a generous contribution to our food pantry, but for every item you donate, we will take a $1 off your outstanding fines.
Tai Chi Chuan Class meets Monday, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m. Come learn Tai Chi Chuan with instructor Bill Snyder. Open to all teens and adults. Best part, it’s FREE. If you cannot make this day, join the class Monday, March 3.
Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 9:45 a.m. Bring the little ones, and help us have fun hearing stories about Houses and Homes. If you can’t make that day, join us Tuesday, Feb. 25, for books about teeth – we will be brushing some pretend teeth and making a tooth to take home.
We are having a Battle of the Sexes night Friday, Feb. 21, at 6:30 p.m. Bring the entire family in as we divide up into two teams: Men vs. Women. See who is smarter, the males or the females. TONS of questions to toss around to determine who the smarter gender is. Fun for the ENTIRE family.
Join us for a book discussion on the book, Someday, Someday Maybe, by Lauren Graham Tuesday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m. Books can be picked up at the library now.
We are showing the movie Despicable Me 2 Friday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m. We provide the popcorn; bring the family and a beverage, and come see this great movie.
The library will be closed Monday, Feb. 17, to observe President’s Day. We will reopen Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Michelle Rounds is library manager for the Morrisville Public Library. The library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
