(Herkimer, NY – Feb. 24, 2014) On Sunday, Feb. 23 at approximately 9:15 p.m. State Police in Herkimer responded to a reported domestic dispute at a residence 482 Joslin Hill Road in the Town of Frankfort, Herkimer County.
Upon arrival, Troopers were met by Gail White, age 55, who was suffering from severe head trauma. Troopers then searched the residence and located John F. White, age 56, suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his face.
Gail White was transported to St. Luke’s Memorial Center in Utica and listed in serious condition. John White was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Utica and listed in critical condition.
The investigation is continuing.
