Our Annual Easter Basket raffle starts Monday! Get your tickets today to win 1 or 2 of our children’s baskets full of Easter goodies!

Be sure to check out local photographer, Nick Hunter’s wildlife pictures in the front foyer display case. If you are interested in seeing more or purchasing any, his contact info is here too!

We will be showing, Frozen, a sweet, magical film filled with great music, likable characters, and striking effects on Friday March 28 at 6pm! We provide the popcorn so bring the family and your own beverage and see this great movie!

Join us on Saturday March 29 for the ER Andrews Elementary School Art Reception (Kindergarten- grade 2) from 12-2pm. Meet the art teacher, Kelly Holmes, view the awesome artwork her students did and meet some of the budding artists!

Tai Chi Chuan Class meets on Monday March 31 at 6:30pm. Come learn Tai Chi Chuan with instructor Bill Snyder. Open to all teens and adults. Best part, it’s FREE! If you cannot make this day, join the class on Monday April 7!

Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour, meets on Tuesday April 1 at 9:45am. Bring the little ones and have fun hearing stories about the mud and rain! If you can’t make that day, join us on Tuesday April 8 for books about frogs! We will be making a frog puppet to take home!

Join us on Friday April 4 for our Lunch Book Talk at 12:15pm. The book being discussed is, Gone Girls by Gillian Flynn. Bring your lunch and join in the discussion. Books can be picked up now.

On Friday April 11 we will be hosting our Scandals of Madison County talk #2 at 6:30pm. Join Madison County Historian, Matthew Urtz, as he shares with us the Madison County scandals from Revolutionary history until 1850. Join him in May and June for scandals up to present day!

We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.

April Calendar of Events

Free Tax Prep for Seniors: RSVP with the support of the Morrisville Public Library will offer free income tax preparation for seniors 60 years and older. RSVP volunteers will be providing FREE income tax services until April 15th. Volunteers are certified by the IRS to complete your tax forms. Please call Marie Smith at 315-684-3903 to sign up for your appointment to have your tax returns filed free of charge.

Easter Basket Raffle: We are raffling off some children’s Easter baskets from now until April 18. Get your tickets at the library or from any trustee to win a children’s basket full of goodies. Winners will be announced on Friday April 18.

Kiddies Korner: Bring the little ones out for our preschool story hour on Tuesday April 1 at 9:45am. Hear some stories about mud and rain.

Kiddies Korner: Our preschool story hour will be hearing stories about Easter and participating in an Easter Egg Hunt so bring your preschool child in on Tuesday April 15 at 9:45am.

Wear Your Jammies to the Library: Yes it is National Wear Your Jammies To Work Day on Friday April 18. So our employees will be wearing theirs and if you come in wearing your jammies (anytime while we are open), you can pick from our assorted candy bars. Come relax at the library with us.

Kiddies Korner: Bring your preschool child in for stories and more on Tuesday April 22 at 9:45am. Hear some stories about Earth Day and make an earthy creation to take home.

Lunch Book Talk: Bring your lunch and join us as we discuss the book, Joyland by Stephen King on Friday April 25 at 12:15pm. Copies can be picked up the beginning of this month.

Family Movie Night: Join us for Family Movie night on Friday April 25 at 6:00pm. We provide the popcorn so bring the family and your own beverage. The movie we are showing is Saving Mr. Banks. This is a fascinating look at the circuitous “collaborative” process Walt Disney, his creative team, and author P.L. Travers engaged in in bringing the character Mary Poppins to life on the big screen in the early 1960s. It is rated PG-13 so we will not allow children under the age of 13 in to view the movie without their parents/guardians.

Kiddies Korner: Bring your preschool child in for stories and more on Tuesday April 29 at 9:45am. Hear some stories about sheep and goats.

Book Talk Movie Night: Join us at 6:30pm on Tuesday April 29 as we will be showing the movie, Bastard Out of Carolina, the book we read at our March book talk. Come see the movie even if you didn’t read the book. Adults only.
