(New Hartford, NY – May 2014) All girls entering grades 2-12 in the fall are invited to attend Girl Scout camp this summer and discover endless possibilities of fun and adventure. Girl Scout membership is not required.
The three resident camps girls can attend are in Deposit, Auburn, and Harrisville. Camp sessions are scheduled from July 8 to August 5. Girls can enjoy traditional camp activities along with week-long programs that give girls the opportunity to explore their interests, spend time outdoors, and become leaders. There are also three-day, two-night programs that introduce younger girls to resident camp.
There will be open houses held at each camp location where girls and families can meet the camp directors, tour the facilities, shop the camp trading posts, enjoy a s’more and see what fun they’ll have this summer. The open houses are free. To RSVP for an open house e-mail summercamp@gsnypenn.org or call (315) 539-5085, ext. 2324.
