(Oneida, NY- June 2014) Oneida Public Library hosts a free concert of “Sounds of the Emerald Isle” performed by members of Craobh Dugan, Utica’s branch of the international Irish music organization called Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eirean, on Tuesday June 24 at 7 p.m.

Featured are Ed Campbell on guitar and fiddle; Bill Fahy on mandolin and tenor banjo; Chris Hoke on bodhran (Irish drum); Mike Hoke on fiddle; Skip Mansur on tenor guitar and Irish bouzouki; and Ryan Troy on fiddle.

Craobh Dugan, which means the “Dugan Branch” in Irish, was established in 1978 by the late Frank and Pat Dugan of Clinton to promote traditional Irish music, song, dance and language.

Members of Craobh Dugan have performed in Utica, Rome and communities throughout Central New York. They last appeared at the OPL in March 2010.

The concert is free and open to the public.
