(Canastota, NY – June 2014) The Canastota Community Band under the direction of Paul L. Shiffer will present a “Patriotic” themed band concert on Thursday July 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the International Boxing Hall of Fame Amphitheater as part of the Canastota Parks and Recreation Commission’s Summer Concert Series.
The program will consist of marches, and music from Cohan to Irving Berlin.
The Canastota Community Band is comprised of approximately twenty-five musicians ranging in age from middle school to age ninety plus. They perform in parades and concerts throughout the year.
This concert is free and open to the public.
