 (Herkimer, NY – Aug. 2014) On Sunday, Aug. 10, 41Cornell Cooperative Extension Herkimer County 4-H members brought their 4-H projects to the Herkimer County Fair youth building to be evaluated by volunteer 4-H judges.

Once evaluated, projects are exhibited in the youth building for the duration of the fair.  Of the projects evaluated, the judges selected the very best, that, after the Herkimer County Fair, will go on to be evaluated and displayed in the Youth Building at the New York State Fair.

4-H members with items selected to go on to the NYS Fair include: Marietta Altieri, Keegan Connolly, Maggie Doremus, Thomas Doremus, CarolAnn Eysaman, Kaitlyn Fitch, Hailey Haynes, Gabrielle Lewosko, Julia Lewosko, Katie Livingston, James Luck Jr., Ben Plungis, McCaylia Plungis, McKenzie Plungis, Rayann Sherrick, Sophia Simmons, Ed Smith, Isabella Smith, Madesen Spellman, Abbie Trevor and Chloe Williams.

Judges included: Steve Brown, Kim Creater, Cathy Eysaman, Paula Morse, Jeff Murdock and Karen Vosler.
