(Clinton, NY – Aug. 2014) On Saturday, Aug. 23 the Clinton Chamber of Commerce presents the 9th Annual Clinton Art and Music Festival in Clinton. This event will showcase musical performances at nine venues and will highlight more than 50 artists, craftsmen and live demonstrations throughout the Village of Clinton. Festivities begin at 10 a.m.

Music highlights the Festival with Main Stage Performances at the Gazebo on the Village Green of Hot Club of Saratoga (noon Gypsy Swing), Sirsy (2 p.m. passion with a punch) and Puttin’ on the Ritz (4 p.m. big band, blues, swing, rock, pop and much more).

At the Village Tavern is Negative 2 with Ed Townsend (3:30 p.m.).  Brooklyn singer songwriter Jenn Friedman, The Rick Short Band, The Dharma Bums, The Hohenfals Trombone Quartet, Foundations, a southern traditional gospel band and more at eight other venues.

Have you always wanted to play an instrument or just want to impress others with your musical prowesa?  Then come to the musical petting zoo and give it a try.  Kids and adults of all ages welcome.

Clinton Pottery will offer children the opportunity to experience the thrill of throwing a piece of pottery. Rock painting and creating a wind catcher for children will also be offered at no charge.
