(Whitelaw, NY – Oct. 2014) Whitelaw Presbyterian Church, located at 8665 North Main St., Canastota will hold its 2nd annual Fall Fest on Saturday Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be venders, games, food and entertainment.
There will be a prize for the best dressed scarecrow age 2 to 5 and 6 to 10. Games like the gourd ring toss and the pumpkin bean bag toss are planned.
A doughnut on a string contest will be held also along with a bale of hay throwing contest for adults and children and a sunflower seed spitting contest.
Entertainment includes Andrew Davis, Jeff Hinman and the Whitelaw Presbyterian Church family choir.
There will be a petting zoo and “Lumpkin” the talking pumpkin for the kids.
A roast beef dinner, sponsored by the Women’s Home Circle will be served inside from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tickets for the dinner are: Adults: $9, children 12 and younger $5.
