(Norwich, NY – Dec. 2014) Bradd Vickers (left) Jamie Critelli, (right) Co-Chairs of the Farmer Veteran Coalition of New York had the honor of meeting with Deputy Secretary Harden who named Karis Gutter (center) (USMC) the first Military Veterans Agricultural Liaison at the National Farmer Veteran Coalition Stakeholders Conference.
Leaders of the groups in attendance were able to spend the rest of the two days getting to know Karis personally, sharing ideas, contacts and proposals for helping veterans to launch agricultural careers.
Deputy Secretary Harden made the announcement at the Farmer Veteran Coalition and Drake University Agriculture Law Center’s inaugural national conference in Des Moines, Iowa.
