Cazenovia library new(Cazenovia, NY – Dec. 2014) During December and January, visitors to the Cazenovia Public Library Art Gallery will enjoy a glimpse into the unique and varied talents of members of the Cazenovia Watercolor Society.

With the content of this exhibition as diverse as the artists themselves, everyone will find something to admire.  There is Taloa Perry’s whimsical little dog with its “Toy,” Pamela Vogan Lynch’s “Winter Goats,” Jane W. Carroll’s untitled beach scene, and Donna Taylor’s “Blue Laws’ Friday Night.”

Exquisite nature scenes are found in Sherry Wright’s “Birches in Gold Leaf” and Tom McCobb’s “Thorn Apples.” Linda Evans adds “Birch Forest,” Joy Englehart “Poinsettias,” and Nancy Edwards “Cactus in Bloom.”

Barbara Kellogg contributes an abstract flavor in “Yarrow,” as does Barbara Bickford in “Pathway,” Jana Laxa in “Orange Fields,” and Ann Cross in “Messing about in Boats.”

These and other paintings by the Watercolor artists will be on display in the Library Art Gallery through Jan. 31 during regular library hours: 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. weekdays and 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturdays.

The Cazenovia Watercolor Society is open to all artists in the area.  Interested persons are invited to visit www.cazwatercolor.org for more information.
