(Hamilton, NY – Dec. 2014) Upcoming Event: Tuesday Jan. 6 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. is Story Time
Story time for babies, toddlers  held in the children’s story room, and led by the library director.  At the same time, story time for preschoolers is held in the Community Room, and led by guest story teller Joan Ford.  Special music time will follow.

036Make a healthy start in the new year by joining Thad Mantaro, director of the Shaw Wellness Institute at Colgate, for a holistic wellness workshop at the library on Tuesday Jan. 13 from 6 to 7 p.m. The workshop will start with a basic overview of wellness dimensions, and then provide time for an exploration of stress reduction techniques. Please come prepared to talk and share with the group members. Space is limited to the first 20 registrations, so save the date and please call or stop by the library to sign up soon.

Are you curious about how to use the free eBooks and audiobooks available through the Mid York Library System?  Join Matt Davis and Connie Huang on Thursday Jan. 15 from 63 to 7 p.m.  at the library for this workshop for beginners.  This class will be a hands-on tutorial that will walk you through the process from beginning to end, so please bring the device you would like to read eBooks on and your laptop (there will be a limited number of laptops available if you do not have one of your own to bring).  Please sign up in advance for this class by sending an e-mail to mdavis@midyork.org indicating your name, phone number, the type of device you’ll be bringing, and whether or not you will need to borrow a laptop.Santa
