(Norwich, NY- March 2015) Chenango County’s National Agriculture Day is March 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Northeast Classic Car Museum 24 Rexford St. in Norwich.
National Ag Day, March 18, 2015 marks the 42nd year of this event.
American agriculture is responsible for providing the necessities of everyday life: … food, feed, fiber, and even fuel.
Ag & Markets Commissioner Richard Ball and New York State FFA officer Kait Isaac from St. Johnsville in Montgomery County will be speaking.
Celebrating Agriculture Day in New York State and especially the Chenango County area, this would be a most fitting tribute to the many farmers and/or ranchers in New York State and the county who perform their jobs with pride and dedication.
Several legislators (and/or representatives) will be present. Some will introduce proclamations recognizing March 18 as the official Chenango County and National Agriculture Day.
