(Cazenovia, NY – May 2015) The International Guitar Duo Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb will be appearing in Cazenovia on Sunday June 7 for a return concert at the Catherine Cummings Theatre at 7 p.m. Special guest Andrew VanNorstrand will also be joining Loren and Mark for part of the show.

Mazengarb said of the show, “Andrew is a wonderful fiddler/guitarist and singer, and we love playing with him – this show will certainly be unique and feature some high energy music that we wouldn’t usually do in a typical Loren and Mark show.”

Loren and Mark have had a busy year so far with tours in California, Florida, Germany and the
Northeast USA. Although based in Syracuse their schedule has only allowed a few concerts
in the Central New York area this year.

Loren and Mark’s varied repertoire of original and arranged music has won them countless fans around the world and many awards, including Best Instrumental for their original track Onward at the International Acoustic Music Awards. They have recently toured with Tommy Emmanuel, and will be headline guests at the Chet Atkins guitar convention in Nashville in July.

Influenced by guitar greats Merle Travis and Chet Atkins, their live performances of instrumental and vocal duets demonstrate a technical grasp of the guitar, as well as outstanding musicality and creative interaction with their audiences. The pair shares a special musical chemistry seldom found among musicians and with a repertoire drawn from Americana, bluegrass, jazz, western and classical influences, a Loren and Mark concert is an exceptionally exhilarating experience.
Andrew VanNorstrand brings a different influence to the music with his roots in the Bluegrass, Celtic and Old-time traditions. The three musicians will perform together as well as separately during the concert.

The Catherine Cummings Theatre is located at 16 Lincklaen St. in Cazenovia.
