Quilts must be received by July 3
(Earlville, NY – June 2015) Local quilters are invited to exhibit their quilts at the upcoming Regional Quilt Celebration show at the Earlville Opera from July 11 to Aug. 29. Last year’s quilt show at the EOH galleries had more than 700 visitors.
The Regional Quilt Celebration show will be in the EOH West Gallery at the same time that the annual “Contemporary Art Quilts” exhibition runs in the East Gallery. The dates for all three exhibits are from July 11 to Aug. 29 with Openings on Saturday July 18 from noon to 3 p.m. to coincide with the Earlville Community Days Celebration.
All quilts must be received on or by July 3 for hanging. Please bring them in a protective bag with a label on your quilt and bag to keep them safe in the drop off and return process.
Please call if you have any questions. Quilts should be labeled and an exhibition form should accompany your quilt so that it can be safely returned to you. The forms may be filled in at the EOH gallery office at the time of drop off or downloaded from www.earlvilleoperahouse.com or if you would like one to be mailed, call the EOH at 315-691-3550.
Current EOH hours for dropping off quilts are Tuesdays – Fridays 10-5, and Saturdays 12-3. The Earlville Opera House Art Center is located at 18 East Main Street at the intersection with NYS Route 12B.
