(Oneida, NY – July 2015) The Kallet Civic Center is featuring a Battle of the Bands Competition on July 31. Up to 15 bands will compete in front of a live audience and three judges; two stages and three judges. Come Battle It Out or…..come and watch the bands Battle It Out.
There is a $3 cover charge at the door to cheer on the battle.
Concessions will be available.
First prize is a shared concert for family, friends and the public at the Kallet with either Roy Coston or Blame Anchor. The Kallet will pay all marketing expenses and provide free venue space for the winning band.
Second prize is a $200 gift certificate to Oneida Music and the promise of a small public performance at a Kallet event and third prize is a $50 gift certificate to Oneida Music.
It is hoped that both local bands and bands from outside the area will register for this competition. Registration can happen online at www.kalletciviccenter.org or by calling the office at 315-363-8525. The registration fee is $40 per band.
The Gallery can be viewed on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am-1pm, during public events at the Kallet or by calling the Kallet to make a private appointment. 315-363-8525.
