(Oneida, NY- July 2015) On Wednesday July 15 at 7 p.m. at the Oneida Public Library, Russell Eastman will present his recently published book “From Good Luck Farm,” a memoir focused on his family’s dairy farm in Waterville as well as a brief history of the Eastman family in the area.
The Eastmans first arrived in America from England in 1638, and by the early 19th century a branch of the family had established a homestead in Waterville. Russell Eastman’s grandfather started up a dairy farm in Waterville, and in the 20th century the label “Eastman Dairy” on milk bottles became a fixture of life in the area.
Copies of the book “From Good Luck Farm” will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
