(Oneida, NY – Aug. 5, 2015) The Oneida City Police Department reports that the investigation is continuing into the death of Tiffany Meeks, 32, of 213 N. Lake St. in Oneida.
Meeks was found by a relative at about 12:50 p.m. alone in her home at 213 N. Lake Street. Her vehicle, a Toyota Camry was missing from the home. The car has since been recovered along with other evidence.
A suspect has been identified and is currently in custody on unrelated charges and will not be getting released due to those charges and pending parole action.
The investigation will continue and charges are expected to be filed upon completion of the investigation.
Oneida City Police were assisted by the New York State Police Forensic and Criminal Investigations Units, The Onondaga County Sherriff’s Department, Syracuse Police Department and The Madison County District Attorney’s Office.
