To sit in judgment of others requires someone to have special and unique qualities. They need to possess the highest integrity, a strong moral compass, an expert knowledge of the law, an open and objective approach, while at the same time be fair, just and compassionate. I know of no one who embodies all these fine qualities better than Marian Cerio.
Working with Marian for several years as a fellow Trustee on the Canastota School Board, I witnessed first-hand her endless dedication and desire to work towards the betterment of the children and families in our community. I was truly impressed with her leadership and negotiating skills and her ability to see all sides of an issue. Her decision making process proved to be consistent, logical and objective.
Marian’s long-term experience as a successful family court attorney and her in-depth and expert knowledge of the law added great value to the Board and will serve the public well with Marian as County Court Judge.
I noted one of Marian’s stronger personality traits is her ability to relate to and connect with children and their parents. Her compassionate and caring approach allows her to naturally develop trust in others of her sincerity to help find a just and equitable solution to any issue. In all aspects of her relationships with others, I have found Marian to act with dignity and professionalism, often putting her personal feelings aside to simply do what’s right and fair. These are character traits that in my view make Marian a perfect choice for County Court Judge.
My family and I support Marian Cerio for Madison County Court Judge and I invite my fellow voters in Madison County to join us.
