(Chittenango, NY – Sept. 2015) The Sullivan Free Library at 101 Falls Blvd. in Chittenango will be offering an evening of adult coloring and relaxation on Wednesday Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Adult coloring is a growing trend. Studies have shown that coloring can have a calming effect on the adult mind and provides similar health benefits as yoga and meditation.
The library will provide light snacks, beverages and relaxing music, as well as coloring pages from books designed especially for adults along with colored pencils, gel pens and fine markers.
This program is designed for those 16 and older.
Pre-registration is encouraged (but not required) to ensure adequate supplies.
