(Chittenango, NY – Sept. 2015) It’s that time of the year again. Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association is planning its yearly educational fundraising event.
The “2015 Canine Classic” Dog Walk and Festival will be held Sunday Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Jim Marshall Farms, 1978 New Boston Road in Chittenango. This event is free to all including your dog(s). There will be food, vendors and raffles, along with K-9 Police Demos, an adoptable alumni parade and Operation Safety Child Registrations.
Special guest will be “Safety Pup.” Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital from Manlius will be offering Pet Micro Chipping for $30. Music will be provided by “The Dinosaur” 95.3 – 103.9 FM.
All proceeds go directly to benefit Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association, which is located at 7138 Sutherland Dr. in Canastota.
Wanderers’ Rest is the only animal shelter in Madison County and is committed to providing compassionate care to animals.
