(Skaneatles, NY – Oct. 2015) More than 200 friends of the VNA Foundation of Central New York gathered at the historic Mandana Barn in Skaneateles to celebrate the foundation’s annual fall event, this year commemorating 125 years of homecare in Central New York, the VNA Homecare Barn “Raise”ing.
Guests attended to raise more than $40,000 for men, women and children served through VNA Homecare in 48 counties throughout Central New York.
Music was provided by Agatha Road. There was a silent auction and raffle items, hors d’oeurves by and wine samplings.
“The Barn “Raise”ing was truly a wonderful celebration our 125th Anniversary – a huge milestone,” said Kate Rolf, president and chief executive officer of VNA Homecare. “As we look to the future, we want to continue paving the way for home & community-based care in New York State.”
