(Oneida, NY – Oct. 28, 2015) Todd M. Allen, 37, of Madison St. Oneida was charged Oct. 26 with second-degree Criminal Trespass. He is alleged to have unlawfully entered another person’s apartment.
Andrew D. Miller, 17, of Boston St. Oneida was charged Oct. 26 with fourth-degree Criminal Mischief. He is alleged to have damaged sponsor signs at the Oneida Little League Field.
Terry E. Karst, 63, of W. Elm St. Oneida was arrested Oct. 28 on a charge of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a class C Felony. Karst is alleged to have possessed five handguns without having the authority to possess them. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $75,000 cash or $150,000 bond to appear Oct. 30.
Oneida City Police would like to remind motorists to be alert to deer that are on or crossing a roadway. There have been 16 motor vehicle accidents with deer this October. Slowing down on roads adjacent to fields or wooded areas is recommended. Dark roadways are especially difficult to see the deer running out from the side of the road.
Locations that have been the site of several accidents include; Upper Lenox Avenue from Stone Street to the City Line, Genesee Street between Lenox Avenue and Seneca Street, N. Main Street north of Vets Field, Middle Road and any roads in the outer district.
