To the Editor:
(Madison County, NY – Oct. 2015) Good morning. This letter is in regards to the Madison County Court Judge election.
I am hoping with less than a week to go before the election that this letter reaches out to people whom either haven’t made up their minds on whom to vote for or just aren’t for sure whom to vote for or maybe thought they knew whom to vote for.
I would like to say that there is no benefit for me to write this letter on Kathleen Rapasadi’s behalf other than I think she is the best person for the position and I believe she is the one that would best represent the people of Madison County.
Kathy was born and raised in Madison County; she is raising her own family here and cares what happens here.
I believe Kathy is the best person for the job, because she not only has decades of experience in family court, but is also serving as the assistant district attorney. This makes her very diverse. Kathy genuinely cares. I am a past client and can say that Kathy is not biased. She will tell you how it is, period. She never made me false promises, but explained to me what the law was and how things would be whether it was something I wanted to hear or not. That is what we NEED, someone that is HONEST and understands the law and will see it through. We NEED someone who understands all aspects of the law both family and other if they are going to sit on the bench and make decisions for the people that live here, raise their families here, work here, etc. as it affects our community.
I have never had to deal with Kathy when she is serving her position as assistant district attorney, but can say with confidence that I am sure she holds the same mentality and respect for the people of Madison County when she is in this position. I don’t care which party you are registered for, Kathy is the best person for the position of Madison County Court Judge.
I am not registered with her party, but I am proud to say that Kathleen Rapasadi has MY VOTE on Election Day. Thank you.
