letters to the editorTo the Editor:

(Madison County, NY – Oct. 2015) Who will You Vote for Madison County Court Judge? More than six decades as a Madison County resident. Attended New York State SUNY school. Law degree from most prestigious law school: Syracuse University. More than three decades of private practice in family and matrimonial Law – an average of 188 Family court cases a year.

Back in 1997 my nephews were appointed Marian Cerio as their law guardian. When it comes to your kids, families will only trust them with a certain few. My nephews were traumatized and distraught. Everything was bottled up inside of them. My nephews went through a lot of emotional turmoil. This could have affected my nephews for the rest of their lives and their futures.

Thanks to Marian Cerio, my nephews have graduated college and lead normal lives.

You want a county judge with deep roots in the community. High morals, values; firm, consistent, shining-star reputation.

Canastota school board president. Member of the Lions Clubs, child panel Third and Fourth Judicial District Department, Supreme Court, past president Madison County Bar Association. Knowledgeable, fair, hardworking, and dedicated.

My uncle was a judge for 60 years: Family, supreme and appellate. I know what it takes. You have the ability to put Marian Cerio in that chair.

Thank you, Marian Cerio, from the bottom of our hearts.

Mary Beth Sbaraglia, East Syracuse
