To the Editor:
(Canastota, NY – Oct. 2015) I was so pleased to hear that Marian Cerio is running for Madison County Court judge and wholeheartedly support her candidacy.
I have known Marian for many years. She has handled legal matters for me during these years, and I have been thoroughly pleased with the outcome of these matters.
Through our client-attorney relationship over the years, I have come to know Marian on a personal level and am very confident in her abilities. She is a fair-minded individual, and I have always found her to be just and fair.
I know she has represented many, many children in her more than 30 years of practice as a children’s advocate in family court and has, I feel, the insight and demeanor to do a wonderful job as family and county court judge.
While I know Madison County would gain an experienced, knowledgeable judge, I selfishly am saddened knowing that I may be losing a great attorney.
