(Chittenango, NY – Jan. 2016) The Sullivan Free Library at 101 Falls Blvd. in Chittenango will be host a coloring program for adults (ages 16 and up) on Thursday, Jan. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. The library will provide coloring pages suitable for adults, markers, gel pens, colored pencils and watercolor pencils as well as light refreshments and relaxing music. Everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing for a free coloring book.
Coloring is the latest trend in relaxation and creative expression for adults. It can be as effective as meditation and yoga in reducing stress and also exercises fine motor skills and brain focus.
