(Hamilton, NY – Jan. 2016) Are Scout and Atticus Finch or Boo Radley some of your favorite book characters? Or maybe you’d like to get acquainted? 2016’s Central New York Reads One Book Program kicks off in January and lasts through March, and the book of choice this year is Harper Lee’s “To Kill A Mockingbird.”

You’re invited to take part in this regional read by joining us at the Hamilton Public Library on Monday Feb. 1 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a book discussion on this beloved classic novel.  We’ll also chat about Go Set A Watchman, Lee’s recently released and much-talked about first draft of To Kill A Mockingbird.

Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library. Stay tuned for a full calendar of Mockingbird-themed events taking place at other central New York locations, coming soon, and in the meantime read more about CNY Reads by visiting http://www.onlib.org/cnyreads.htm.

The Library is normally open Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, 10am to1pm. Please visit or call the Library (315) 824-3060 during these hours for assistance. The book drop at the front of the building is always available for your convenience.
