(Yorkville, NY – Jan. 2016) The Oneida County Association of Towns (OCAOT) will have Rachel Galusha and Markee Jones from Key Bank Financial Services each do a presentation as it relates to Treasury Services/Cash Management available to municipalities for deposit (Remote Deposit feature), investments, bonds, checking money markets, and credit card services at the OCAOT Jan. 19, to be held at Club Monarch (16 Erie St.) in Yorkville.
Cash bar is at 5:30 p.m. Dinner meeting starts promptly at 6 p.m. with the presentations to immediately follow.
“Given the various financial options and components in government operations, I thought it would make for an excellent topic for leaders in Oneida County towns to find out more information about it,” said Fritz Scherz, OCAOT President. “I want to thank Rachel and Markee in advance for agreeing to speak to the OCAOT on a topic that should prove to be of interest to many. I hope to see many of my colleagues from local government in Oneida County at this meeting and encourage those interested to sign up right away as seating is limited and we’re on a tight deadline.”
The OCAOT has a goal of helping towns obtain greater economy and efficiency, and to provide learning and networking opportunities for town officials. Officials from local government in Oneida County are welcome to attend all OCAOT meetings.
The cost per attendee is $20. For reservations, call Gina LaMont at: (315) 839-5678 ext. 7 or email her at: paristowncodesofficer@frontiernext.net or call Fritz at: (315) 363-3509 or email him at: fritz@fritzscherz.com no later than 3 p.m. Jan. 14.
