Oneida Man Arrested on Numerous Meth Charges

(Oneida, NY – Jan. 13, 2016) Alan Blake, 53, of 1720 Canal Road, Oneida was arrested Jan. 12 on Madison Street in Oneida.

Blake was charged with the following in relation to the Meth Lab that was discovered at 1720 Canal Road Jan. 8: second-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class A-ll Felony (Blake is alleged to have possessed in excess of 2 ounces of liquid methamphetamine); second-degree Unlawful Manufacturing of Meth, a class C Felony; third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Meth, a class D Felony, Unlawful Disposal of Meth Lab Material, a class E Felony; Criminal Possession of Precursors of Meth, a class E Felony; second-degree Criminal Possession of Meth Manufacturing Material, a class A Misdemeanor; four counts of seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class A Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Blake is alleged to have possessed in addition to the meth, Oxycodone, Zaleplon, Hydrocodone, Zolpidem and Marijuana.

He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail without bail to reappear Jan. 15.

Oneida Man Charged with Assault

Antonio L. Lawrence, 35, of Cedar Street, Oneida was arrested Jan. 11 on separate cases on charges of third-degree assault, Forcible Touching and on a Bench Warrant for allegedly failing to appear in court on a third-degree Assault charge.

Lawrence is alleged to have struck a 27 year old female on the left side of her face causing swelling to the cheek bone, abrasion to left eye and a fractured nose. He is alleged to have in a separate forcibly touched the private area of a 18 year old female.

He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond to appear Jan. 15 in Oneida City Court.

Liverpool Man arrested on Grand Larceny charges

(North Syracuse, NY – Jan. 11, 2016) State Police in North Syracuse arrested Preston B. Fagan, 64, from 3901 Bufflehead Lane Liverpool for second-degree Grand Larceny, a class “C” felony.

Fagan was arrested on Jan. 8 after a six-month investigation into money missing from the CNY Pop-Warner Football and Cheerleading Inc.  The investigation revealed Fagan, the treasurer for the organization, made 56 unauthorized transactions totaling $54,015.

Fagan did return $ 33,000 of the money taken back to the organization.
He was arraigned in the Town of Clay Court and was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond.

Three Oneida County Residents Arrested for Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine

(Utica, NY – Jan. 12, 2016) The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) announce the arrest of three Oneida County residents following a month long investigation into the manufacturing and trafficking of methamphetamine in central Oneida County and surrounding area with the assistance of Troop D, SP Marcy uniform Troopers.

The three were arrested Jan. 11 at 2:30 p.m. at James Street in the city of Utica.

Arrested were Jessica D. Sroka, 29, of 74 Pratt Ave., Clark Mills; Travis R. VanDyke, 32, of 9698 Campbell Road, Lot #1A, Sauquoit and Joshua B. Hanrahan, 31, of 4882 Clinton St.,Clark Mills.

They were charged with third-degree Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine.
The three individuals were arrested after extensive surveillance showed that the individuals in question had acquired the necessary ingredients and precursors to manufacture or “cook” methamphetamine.  The three individuals were then followed and a traffic stop was executed on James Street in the city of Utica.   The defendants were found to be in possession of the requisite manufacturing materials, which included a large quantity of pseudoephedrine tablets, several solvents and reagents and lab equipment which partly consisted of plastic tubing and glassware.
Additional assistance in the investigation was provided by the State Police’s Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCERT).
All three defendants were sent to the Utica Police Departments lockup pending arraignment in Utica City Court Jan. 12. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.

West Winfield Man arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child

(Herkimer, NY – Jan. 2, 2016) State Police in Herkimer arrested Gary L. Randt, 59, of West Winfield for Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

The arrest stems from an investigation whereupon Randt is accused of verbally propositioning a 10 year old child for sexual favors.

Randt was arraigned, remanded to jail in lieu of bail and ordered to return to the Town of Winfield Court.
