(Chittenango, NY – Jan. 2016) The Sullivan Free Library will be offering a one-day bus trip to Philadelphia on Saturday March 5. The cost will be $75. This coincides with opening day of the Philadelphia Flower Show. Tickets for the show are not included in the price.
The bus will leave the library at 101 Falls Blvd. in Chittenango at 6 a.m. and arrive in Philadelphia at 11 a.m. There is parking for cars in the rear of the library.
Travelers can spend the day in Philadelphia however they choose, visiting the flower show, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Franklin Institute, touring Eastern State Penitentiary, etc. The bus will leave Philadelphia at 7 p.m. and arrive back in Chittenango at midnight.
This trip is for those aged 10 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
There are limited seats on the bus. To reserve a seat, make payment in full at either library or mail to Sullivan Free Library, PO Box 310, Chittenango, NY 13037 by Feb. 15.
Proceeds from this trip above costs will benefit the Bridgeport Building Revitalization Fund. Construction is expected to start in the fall of 2016.
